Has a Brazilian-Italian descendant and citizen, I have lived in Rome and falt the xenophobic attitude from today’s Italians. And I know that it’s even worse if you’re someone of color. Italy is the second EU country (after Roumania) with the biggest immigration from its citizens. Again, unfortunately, history doesn’t teach both sides much…

Some Italians argued that the US is “big” and it can manage millions of immigrants and Italy is a smaller country…But Italy doesn’t receive million sof immigrants willing to stay in Italy. Most of the immigrants (knowing better) don’t want to stay in Italy or France by the way…Italy is a path towards other EU countries as Germany or Sweeden.
