I wrote about it on my e-book Solitude in Paris. I agree with you about the history classes and even at universties…as Hannah Arendt had written as well about it, the so-called rich countries didn’t “digest” what the hell a country like Germany could have aloud a man like Hitler get to the power, and the nazism ideoly had had followers in USA or Brazil! And the far-right getting nowadays in 2017 legitimized as politics parties as in Greece, France and Germany( again? it’s not the jewish this time but the imigrants!)! Definitely we home sapiens, we aren’t able to rid ourselves of hate, mass murdering…
